A tower at the water's edge

A tall, slim tower rises beside the water on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Its stone-coloured fins and deep balconies give it a calm look. Boats pass below, and the city spreads out on every side.

Inside, the homes are built around light. Glass runs from floor to ceiling, the terraces are wide, and the finishes are warm wood, soft stone and onyx-veined marble.
